    Vintage Starrett No. 823M tubular inside micrometer head metric 0-10 mm
    There is a clear plastic piece with what looks like a red lens inside one end of the micrometer I do not know if that is a protective cover or if there's some sort of optical thing installed..
    Examine the pictures closely, I take care to show features and flaws.
