This is a very nice LARGE, HEAVY DUTY 10" Grinding or Wire Wheel Arbor from Prairie.  This is a case where an early American company did one thing right.

It is just really hard to find something with this kind of quality.  The center of the 3/4" shaft is 6" above the bench. That means that you can mount a 10" wire wheel or Grinding stone.

There is room to mount a 1" thick wire wheel or stone; if you remove the two huge washers on each side, you could mount something that is two inches thick.

There is no play that I could detect in the shaft.  Each side has spring loaded oil port caps.

Yes, this is not the latest technology, but just a good old fashioned American made tool.

There are signs or wear and there is a broken ear (last photo) that probably won't matter one bit for the purposes that you use this arbor.

The tool weighs over 17 lbs. The shaft measures 3/4", and is 16" long. The belt receiver is made for V belts.
EVERYTHING WORKS EXCELLENTLY.  All threads are good. One side is reverse thread.

You are going to like this Arbor a lot. I cleaned a lot of shop grime off of it, but l left some for you.
