    Description

These vintage metal rein holder attachments are left over from supplies I had to create my own show, horse apparel tack. I made my own bridles, girths and saddle pads, breast plates, etc. They've never been used and stored away in a box. They are over 25 years old and in very good workable order.  Some signs of tarnish or scratches may be expected because of their age.
I'm not sure what these are officially called. But their purpose is to hold extra leather or nylon components of reins, bridles and halters in place so they don't flap around and slap the horse by accident.  Since most halters and bridles and people who use regular or roping reins have different sizes for different horses there can be extra materials that are hanging lose. You tuck the extra under and out of the way. It helps it look better too, as well as adding extra safety that the equipment's hardware will not come undone by accident.
There are seven groups of two each of these. Three sets have openings in those are approximately 3/4". The other set of four have an opening of approximately .5" Two sets of the smaller size are a nickel /silver and the rest are solid brass.
Please see pictures for exactly what is in this grouping. I've taken a picture of the fronts and backs of the group.
