Vintage Lancaster County Pa hand crafted wooden saddle draw down - stirrup stretcher Stand - Perfect item for parking that special saddle on or utilizing the stand for saddle repairs &/or stirrup conditioning - The stirrup stretcher or tensioner hardware is of heavy metal which depicts 8 settings as depicted in the photo array. The vintage original spring still keeps tension as it was designed - The hand crafted stand is well constructed, sturdy, and surely still useable as designed. It meassures about 29 1/2 inches across the top of the V at center saddle rest in length - The bottom end of the V at top of the stand tree measures 11 1/2 inches - The stirrrup T from side to side measures 22 1/2 inches - The complete stand is 35 1/2 inches from floor to top of the V. All metal components on this vintage item depict original aging as depicted in the photo array. The wood is somewhat dry as it has not been treated for at least 10 years while in my possession having housed an original civil war saddle which has been sold - the original wood does show some slight cracks or splits as depicted in the photo array as well, but such surely doesn't effect the overall performance of this Saddle Draw Down to work as intended & designed - Good custom hand crafted wood saddle draw downs such as this seldom appear for sale.
