The pin is made out of a brass/bronze colored stamped metal with black colored accents.  The lapel pin measures approximately 3/8" tall and 10/16" wide.  The pin is held on to the garment using a single pin and clutch back hasp.
This 37 year old lapel pin is used and was worn on a denim riding jacket but remains in nice looking condition.
I received this pin back in 1984 when the AMA was commemorating and celebrating their 60th year anniversary (1924 - 1984).
