Three Flavors of Deep, Hypnotic Chorus
Drift away on swirlicious clouds of liquid stereo chorus generated by the Source Audio Gemini Chorus guitar pedal. Out of the box, the state-of-the-art Gemini Chorus serves up three distinct modes of deep, hypnotic chorus effects. The single-voice Classic chorus nails the creamy, understated tones from the first wave of chorus pedals in the 1970s. The rich and thick Dual chorus delivers a smooth yet vibrant double-voiced effect. The lush and dimensional Quad chorus bottles that '80s vibe and its less-than-subtle rack-system sonics. Once you’ve found the perfect chorus, dial into the sweet spot with the Gemini's onboard Mix and Tone controls.
    Wait, there's more!
In the previous paragraph, we said "out of the box," and if that's all there was, then the Source Audio Gemini Chorus would be an absolutely killer pedal with tremendous tonal range. But there's more to this little sapphire gem. As a member of Source Audio's One Series line, Gemini Chorus is compatible with the Neuro Desktop Editor and Mobile App (free downloads for iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows). Connect the Gemini via USB to the Neuro Editor, and you'll have access to Source Audio’s free library of additional phaser, flanger, and chorus algorithms — each directly downloadable to the pedal. The Neuro App also offers an extended range of adjustable parameters that includes Feedback, Output Level, embeddable Tremolo, Parametric EQ, advanced signal routing, and much more.
    Fully MIDI compatible
Every One Series pedal is fully MIDI compatible when coupled with the Neuro Hub, which gives you the ability to save up to 128 presets. The Source Audio Gemini Chorus has created quite a stir among guitarists here at Sweetwater. Sonically, it's among the best-sounding and most versatile chorus pedals we've heard (as you would expect, we've heard quite a few). If you're in the market, then it definitely belongs on your short list.
Source Audio Gemini Chorus Pedal Features:
3 distinct chorus effects selectable via toggle switch: Classic, Dual, and Quad
Preset mode lets you save a different preset to each of the 3 switch positions
When the pedal is engaged, all parameters instantly jump to their saved value, regardless of knob positions
Stereo I/O jacks let you create deep and wide stereo modulation or engage one of many signal routing options via the Neuro App
Universal bypass offers both analog buffered or relay-based true bypass
External Control Input is compatible with Source Audio expression pedals and the Hot Hand 3
Tap Tempo lets you intuitively sync your modulation rate to the music with the optional Source Audio Tap Tempo switch (supports quarter, eighth, triplet, and 16th note beat divisions)
Three Classic Amp Tremolos in One
With its amp-inspired tremolo modes and limitless connectivity and configurability, the Source Audio Vertigo will have you excited about tremolo again. Vertigo's three modes recall three important circuits from the golden age of amp-based trem effects. Onboard you'll find a pulsing, push-and-pull Blackface opto tremolo, a hauntingly hypnotic Brownface "vibrato" with filter-y phase effects, and a harmonically rich, gently overdriven tube bias tremolo inspired by early tube bias circuits. All tremolo types are presented in beautiful stereo surround for effects never before possible from your favorite classic combo. Connecting to the free Neuro Editor for mobile and desktop unlocks instant inspiration and access to tap tempo, 4-band parametric EQ, and more. Rekindle your love for tremolo again with the Source Audio Vertigo pedal from Sweetwater.
    Three classic tube trem effects
    Normal (Optical)
    — This mode reimagines an early iteration of the amp-based tremolo, which relied on a bulb and photoresistor. It's marked by a forward-sounding pulse, most famously found in the 1967 Vibrolux.
    Harmonic
    — This mode faithfully captures the modulated tremolo effects found in early-'60s American amps, specifically the 1962 Brownface Super. It results in a rich and complex effect that blends tremolo with subtle shades of phasing.
    Bias
    — This mode emulates the tremolo effects caused by modulating bias voltage across preamp tubes. The result is an extremely gratifying tube breakup that's rich in harmonics and presents in a distinctive pulse.
    Dedicated controls, plus Shape
Along with dedicated controls for Speed, Depth, and Level, Vertigo gives you a waveform-morphing Shape control to coax new textures — square to sine waves, opto to sawtooth — from your favorite mainstay tremolo effects.
Configure settings via your phone or laptop
Right out of the box, the Source Audio Vertigo is a fully realized, fully playable pedal. But for deep divers and tone tweakers, Source Audio's Neuro Editor software unlocks additional functionality. Available for your smartphone as well as your desktop computer, Neuro takes you inside the pedal's hidden features, including tap tempo, 4-band parametric EQ, presets, and more.
