Set of 8 Ridgway Pattern 1/45 Floral Green & Gold 9 3/8 Inch Plates C. 1835-1848
Rare set of 8 bone china plates. Decorated with a green border with gold scrollwork and hand colored flowers in pink, purple, blue, orange, and yellow. Gold gilding along the edge and two gold rings around the center. Some plates are marked on the reverse with the number 45 in red and some are marked 1/45 in red. Produced by Ridgway, Upper Hanley Works between 1835 and 1848.
These have heavy wear to the gilding and wear consistent with age and use, but no chips or cracks.
Each plate measures approximately 9 3/8 inches wide.
These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the pieces.
