This beautiful set was manufactured by “Ridgway Potteries “ in 1955-1964
It has elegant pattern called “ Thatched Cottage Garden “ with cottage, trees and flowers.
Both cup and saucer have a thin gold trim on edges and handle.
The back stamp has signs “ Royal Vale “ , “ Made in England “ A product of Ridgway Potteries LTD “ and image of crown with “ Bone China “ sign.
Also visible pattern number 7382.
The cup and saucer have slightly scalloped edge.
Very beautiful set.

About Maker :
Ridgway Potteries was a British pottery manufacturer of Stoke-on-Trent that produced mainly high quality earthenware from 1790s through to the mid twentieth century.
The firm was established by Job Ridgway (1759-1813) and his brother George (c. 1758-1823), who together established a factory at Hanley in 1794. Popular products included Cauldron Ware, much of which was exported to the United States, and in the later twentieth century Homemaker tableware.
On January 1st 1955 continued with Booths & Colclough's Ltd as "Ridgway, Adderley, Booths & Colcloughs Ltd" and then renamed Ridgway Potteries Ltd from Feb 28th 1955.
Ridgway Potteries became one of the largest in industry with eight factories in group.
