Pigtronix RESOTRON Pedal - NEW in BOXThe Pigtronix Resotron is a tracking multimode filter that brings the sound of vintage 1970s analog synthesizers to the modern world of envelope pedals for guitar, bass, keyboard, and beyond. Resotron's pitch-following ability lets the filter automatically adjust relative to the notes you play, just like an old-school analog synth. Up and Down envelope modes are also onboard to perform traditional velocity-sensitive filter movement that responds to your string attack. The first envelope pedal we've seen at Sweetwater that can follow the pitch of the notes you play, the Pigtronix Resotron has attracted the attention of guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, and synth nerds alike.
Resotron's push-button Oscillate function turns the pedal into an analog synthesizer, shorting out the Peak knob, effectively setting it to 100% while simultaneously activating a VCA (Voltage-controlled Amplifier) in the output stage. With the Oscillate function on, the Cutoff knob sets the tuning of the synth effect while the VCA accurately follows the volume of your input signal. The synth sounds created by the Resotron can also be dramatically changed by switching between the LPF (Lowpass), BPF (Bandpass), and HPF (Highpass) modes — each mode having its own distinctive waveform and modulation characteristics when overdriven by the onboard compressor.
