NAPIER SILVERPLATE STRAINING & COCKTAIL STIRRING SPOON - 12 5/8 INCHES - RARE!

Description

Up for auction is this incredible, very rare and extremely unusual Napier Silverplate cocktail straining/stirring spoon.  The large 12 5/8 inch long piece has an irregular shaped concave spoon with straining holes.  It is attached to a long handle that alternated from square to twisting in shape.  The end has a ball for muddling.  Fully marked on the back "NAPIER SILVERPLATE PAT. PEND.".  This is a true mid century modern piece in date and style!  In excellent condition, although it could use a bit of a polishing (we left this up to the buyer at the request of previous purchasers of such items from us in the past!).  A few very minor scratches (these are extremely minor, commensurate with the vintage age and use of the piece and only mentioned for complete accuracy!).  Silver is shiny and bright!  A great piece in nice shape offered with NO RESERVE!!
