I have a Clamp-On Surface grinder wheel dresser. Was passed down to me from an old timer some years ago.. it is well over 40 years old. it’s been sitting in my toolbox for years so I decided to freshen it up,
It has been recently precision ground from hardened tool steel(8/6/2021) it has not been used even once since it’s been restored, however it is ready to use right out of the box! It comes with one diamond nib already installed. Held in place by a set screw for easy removability and adjustability. however there are 3 holes in total that you can insert the diamond tipped shank into, one on the face, one on the side and one on the top, all of which come with set screws included. His initials were carved into the face so I decided to mill away his initials so you could scribe youre own initials! With a pencil grinder or even a CNC if you’re savvy enough. Or leave it blank! Upto you!
This is a specialty piece that you can’t find to many of, and the ones I can find online aren’t anywhere near this quality.. clamp it to your work piece, clamp it to your right angle plate or whatever you can come up with, it sure beats jogging the wheel up and down by hand every time you need a fresh & true wheel!
