While many stereo effects pedals simply invert the polarity of the mono signal to create the stereo signal, the SupaTrem 2 v2 is equipped with two separate and identical tremolo circuits, each with their own inputs and outputs. And for maximum creative potential, a phase correlation knob allows you to play with the phase relationship of the channels — Sweetwater can highly recommend the Fulltone SupaTrem 2 v2 stereo tremolo pedal to any adventurous guitarist.
To keep your tone sounding and feeling good, Fulltone loaded the SupaTrem 2 v2 stereo tremolo with a pair of NOS Fairchild 2N5484 JFET amps. The volume control delivers up to 15dB of clean boost, making the SupaTrem 2 v2 a great-sounding clean boost when you crank the mix control all the way down. And the high-quality JFET buffered outputs will drive long cable runs with ease, making the SupaTrem 2 v2 a smart choice at the end of your signal path or for use as a splitter in front of two amps.
Fulltone’s SupaTrem 2 v2 gives you the ability to create your own signature sound. A Waveform switch lets you choose between sine, square, and the Fulltone-exclusive Warble waveforms. Warble is a setting inspired by classic Leslie and Univibe units. Quickly dial in your speed with a large Tap Tempo button. The Phase Correlation control lets you dial in the phase between the stereo outputs — you’ll find a ton of unique tones just with this control.
The list of Fulltone fans reads like a who’s who of guitar heroes. Both Ron Wood and Keith Richards have Fulltone gear in their touring rigs as does Nigel Tufnel from the legendary British metal band Spinal Tap and Boston badboys Joe Perry and Tom Hamilton. Punk/Rockabilly mainstay Reverend Horton Heat is a Fulltone convert. Other notable Fulltone users include Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard, Jack Bruce of Cream, perennial alt-rocker Lou Reed, and Tom Petty along with Heartbreaker Mike Campbell.
