Machinist Scribe / Scribing Needle.
Semi-retired machinist with too much time on my hands.
This is version 2.0. It now has a knob that unthreads to expose a cavity for storing extra tips.
Nice hand machined and polished scribe. Body is  made from 300 series stainless steel. The knurled knob is low carbon steel with black passivation. The business end is a #2 sewing needle that will scribe very crisp and clear lines for layout  or what ever you choose.
To replace scribe tip, clip the head off of the sewing needle at the desided length and simply super glue or locktite in place. To remove, lightly heat and pull needle.
Listing is for the scribe body with two #2 sewing needles clipped to length. . No other items are included.
