    Description

    A rare early John Ridgway fancy dessert/tea serving plate. The center is hand painted with an arrangement of field flowers. There are three flowers around the edges and scroll and floral hand gilding.
    Hallmarks: This plate has the Georgian/Regency period Royal Arms mark. It has the JR for John Ridgway in the center of the bottom ribbon scroll. This mark was used in the late Georgian/Regency period or c1830s.
    The condition is near mint. it has some slight wear to the gilt.
    Size: About 9" in diameter.
